Caring about the environment is crucial act for each one of us and on this World Environment Day, take inspiration from our Bollywood celebrities. Many of these celebrities have used their public platforms to spread awareness about various causes they are passionate about. From a sustainable life to keeping the environment, every star is doing their worth and contributing to a healthier environment. 1. Amitabh Bachchan
Big B has been an advocate for cleanliness and has been very vocal about many such activities. He is a prominent face for Swachcha Bharat. Bachchan also made sure to help the youngsters of Mumbai when they did the Versova Beach Clean Up drive.
2. Priyanka Chopra
PC has consciously avoided usage of plastic. She keeps insisting on reducing non-recyclable items. Additionally, she works closely with underprivileged children and women.
3. Dia Mirza
Dia has a unique habit of swapping non-recyclable things around her with environment friendly versions. Her house is a testimony for this and she has bird feeders and small balcony gardens to vouch for her cause. Dia also insists on carrying her own water bottle.
4. Varun Dhawan
The rising star is always talking about creating a more environment friendly place around him. He has spoken many times about contribution to a greener environment.
5. Taapsee Pannu
Pannu is known for her bold roles on-screen and now for her role in Tiger Conservation. The actress was approached by a very famous science channel to help them spread the word about conservation of the endangered species and she cheerfully agreed.
6. Anushka Sharma
The actress has shown her concern for Global Warming and has used her social media platform to raise awareness. She is also in the favor of creating a sustainable environment.
7. Akshay Kumar
Khiladi Kumar has been into healthy habits for himself and the environment. He has recently released a video which deals with rising air pollution in the air surrounding us, especially in the metros.
