This Sunday, Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) have opened second Covid-19 drive-through vaccination center in Al Wakra. This is located behind Al Janoub Stadium and is for people who want to get the second dose of the vaccine.
On their official Twitter handle, MoPH shared the vaccination process at the drive-through centers along with important notable reminders during an attendee’s visit.
This new drive-through vaccination is open between 11am to 10pm, throughout the week. Also, last entrance to the Drive-Through Center is 9pm.
- There Is No Appointment Needed
There is no appointment for people who need second dose at the drive-through centres. They shall be receiving their second dose as per schedule, they must attend 21 days after the first dose for Pfizer and 28 days after the first dose for Moderna. This date will be provided to them at the time of the first dose. People cannot visit the drive-through center on a day other than the set date for the second dose and will be seen on a first-come first-seen basis.
- People Are Required To Wear Masks
All people must wear masks at all times inside their vehicles when they are at the drive-through center. This shall apply even if there is only driver in the vehicle.
- Family Or Friend Can Visit Together For Second Dose
Family and friends who are due for a second dose and have same day given can visit the drive through together. Do remember that a maximum capacity of 4 people is allowed in one vehicle.
