Qatar National Tourism Council(QNTC) recently announced the Chefs of Qatar Virtual Food Festival. The festival take place from April 1 to May 12, 2021. Chefs of Qatar shall feature the sharp minds running Qatar’s best restaurants and they will share stories and signature dishes to bring flavours of the world to your doorstep.
Qatar National Tourism Council Secretary General and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said in the announcement : “We are very pleased to bring the first Chefs of Qatar Virtual Food Festival to life. In the absence of in-person festivals and large-scale events, this virtual culinary festival enriches domestic tourism while supporting the F&B sector.
“A melting pot of cultures, Qatar’s vibrant food scene reflects this diverse and eclectic range of influences. From sampling cuisine by world-renowned chefs to the chance to win free airline tickets, Chefs of Qatar showcases the best of Qatar.”
Through this festival, food enthusiasts would be able to taste foods from across the world within Qatar. These dishes can be ordered at home and exclusive 3-course meals including a starter, main and dessert, prepared by world-renowned chefs in Qatar with prices capped at QR200. There are 23 fine dining restaurants with 19 prominent Qatari and international chefs who will participate in the festival.
In its new Chefs of Qatar collection, talabat will host all the participating restaurants and their menus including the 3-course meal curated by their top chef for the festival.
