The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has recently tweeted important information about the mosque timings for Friday prayers and other details. The decision has been taken in co-ordination with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). The following details were announced by the ministry on Twitter.
Mosques to open 20 minutes before second adhan (call to prayer) for Friday prayer and sermon
Increase in number of mosques holding Friday prayers, especially in crowded areas.
Worshippers to fully cooperate with in-charge of supervising mosque
Mosque windows to remain open
Ablutions facilities to remain closed
IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES FOR WORSHIPPERS
All worshippers to maintain social distancing,
All worshippers to wear face masks,
All worshippers must perform ablutions at home.
All worshippers must green status on the Ehteraz app.
All worshippers should bring their own prayer mats.
They should not share mat with others or leave them in mosque.
