1. “Fast & Furious” spin-off featuring “Hobbs and Shaw” was first suggested during filming of “The Fate of the Furious,” after producers and studios executives noted the comedic chemistry between the two leads.

2. Unlike the previous eight films which were shot primarily in the Super 35 format on film and digital, this one is the first Fast And Furious chapter to be shot with anamorphic lenses.

3. Idris Alba is also a part of the spin-off and has a very interesting character who calls himself “Superman” with special powers.

4. Ryan Reynolds wanted to be a part of the spinoff too but he wanted too play out his character Deadpool.

5. Helen Mirren will be seen playing the role of Shaw’s mother in this part.

6. Dwayne’s cousin WWE superstar Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa’i) plays Luke Hobbs’ (Dwayne Johnson’s) brother in the film.

7. This is the third Fast & Furious feature film sans Paul Walker after The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) and The Fate of the Furious (2017).
