SHOP QATAR 2020 : AMALGAMATION OF LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL DESIGNERS 

Shop Qatar 2020 has been raising the bars for shopping and style. The event has attracted famed designers across the world to Qatar. More than 20 famed designers have showcased their collection. These designers are from across Europe, Asia and local Middle East who displayed their spring-summer collections. With the 4^th edition, Shop Qatar 2020 has attracted a record breaking numbers of designers in their wake.

Visitors have been enjoying these collections displayed exclusively for Shop Qatar 2020. There have been multiple fashion shows that have been choreographed for the viewers entertainment. There is an amazing fashion show for kids that has been hosted by Mirqab Mall. From elegant venues to mastered choreography, it is all an expression of art.

DESIGNED BY THE WORLD – AL HAZM ON THURSDAY, 23 JANUARY

This contains all original collections of top regional designers Ahmed Talfeet, Saeed Malass, Laith Maalof, Amgad Al Adab, Naja Saade, and Toufic Al Hasan. This is an inaugural  show featuring haute couture, bridal gowns, ready-to-wear evening wear, and much more presented by Turkish label Bariş.

KIDS FASHION – AL MIRQAB MALL ON FRIDAY, 24 JANUARY

Shop Qatar 2020 offers not just the adults but children the opportunity for fun. First of its kind Fashion Show for Kids will happen at Mirqab Mall with latest childrenswear.

QNTC yet again enthralls its audience by bringing renowned Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran. She is famous for haute couture along with a line of accessories, shoes and bags. This solo show will mark Jebran’s Qatar debut.

DESIGNED BY QATAR – AL HAZM ON SATURDAY, 25 JANUARY

Many local designers will come together for this show. Some names include design stars Waad, Yasmeen Mansoor, Sarmad, Shaden, Tamadar Al Sultan and Lady Ayesha. Together they will showcase their latest couture and pret collections. Included will be designs from Modish, Soliel Abayas, Al Dukan, and the Black Pearl.

HAUTE COUTURE & EVENING WEAR – AL HAZM ON SUNDAY, 26 JANUARY

Featuring collections from Sandra Mansour, Saiid Kobeisy, J.Mendel, Marco & Maria, Ziad Nakad, Jenny Packham and Bazzaza, this wll include bridalwear from Frida, Mae collection, Demetrios and Yolancris.

READY TO WEAR SHOW – AL HAZM ON MONDAY, 26 JANUARY

Leading brands The Row, Avaro Figlio, Alexander Terekhov, Racheal Gilbert, Dice Kayek, Blumarine, Loriz Azzaro, Hrabal Gurong will showcase their collection.

DESIGNED BY CHINA – THURSDAY, 29 JANUARY, AL HAZM

Grace Chen and Lan Yu, who are considered China’s most influential innovators, will present their unique approach to couture.
