Qatar Museums has been developing the Qatar Children’s Museum(QCM) which announced a welcome news recently. QCM will be hosting family workshops everyday on their Instagram account. These workshops will concentrate on easy materials found in all homes. The sessions will encourage families to come together to play and learn at the same time.
Workshops shall cater to both Arab and English-speaking audience. These are being done to help families across Qatar in their homes as everyone is keeping social-distancing during the pandemic COVID-19.
Already the Learning and Outreach Department has been inaugurated by the QCM which will engage communities and families, as it did during Doha International Book Fair. As everyone is practicing social-distancing, the museum has also gone online to ease its reachability for all. The purpose is to spread more positivity and hope for all at home.

Additionally, QCM will be sharing an activity video between Sunday to Thursday at 3 pm to engage all families. It will be a live 1-hour workshop where audience will be joining in virtually to participate. Ideas will be exchanged and new explorations at home will be encouraged.
