The Organizing Committee for the National Day Celebrations announced the National Day activities for the year 2021, which will be held in different locations across Qatar in a new look, reflecting the importance of the occasion.

This year’s National Day activities will be held in several locations, including Al Wakra Souq, Aspire Park, Al Ramii Sport Club and Qatar Foundation, to enable citizens and residents alike to participate in it. All the activities will be displayed on large screens at all the locations.

These events coincide with Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 FIFA Arab Cup and in light of the global spotlight on Qatar, with the start of the countdown to organizing the 2022 World Cup.

Al Wakra Souq activities

The events held in Al Wakra Souq will include traditional Qatari folk games for children and will be held on shores of Al-Wakra Souq from December 14 till 18, 2021.
The same period will also see “Modern Sailing Boats”, an interactive sport activity.

Education Sector Activities
The educational sector will present several activities during the celebrations of the National Day, where the focus will be on the events that reflect the interest and passion of Qataris for the love of the land through initiatives in the fields of environment, where schools will compete by presenting activities of their environmental initiatives and the closing ceremony will be held on December 16.

Aspire Park Activities
A series of events will be held in Aspire Park from December 14 to 18, 2021, during which visitors will be introduced to Qatari traditions, in addition to other activities like storytelling, Rababa performance, puzzles, quiz and more.
National Day Activities at D’reesha Festival
The National Day activities will have their presence at the D’reesha Festival, where several activities will be held from December 12-17, 2021, from 5-8 pm.

More events
National Day 2021 will also see several activities at the Al Ramii Sports Club from December 14 to 18, 2021.
This year’s events will also have Founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani’s Horse Cup, which is organized by the Racing and Equestrian Club.
National Padel Day Championship will be held from December 13-17, 2021.
