Marmi 2021 has continued to enthrall all in Qatar at Sabkht Marmi in Sealine area. The young Falconers Championship was held here on 16th January and saw many participations.
It is great way to keep on the tradition for upcoming generations. The festival, which will continue till 30th January is being held under thepatronage of H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al Thani, and organised by the Qatar Society of Al Gannas.
The festival is inspired by the original Qatari culture, its tradition and heritage.
Marmi Festival held a championship for age group of 6-10 years where they showed the techniques learned. Children participated with a lot of enthusiasm as they displayed their love for the Qatari sport.
This is the 12th edition of the Qatar International Falconry and Hunting Festival ‘Marmi’ documenting and promoting the falconry heritage.
