Mall of Qatar is now ready to welcome families and youth into its recreational facilities.
In a recent statement the mall said “With the re-opening of entertainment facilities, Mall of Qatar continues its mission of offering destinations that harmonise shopping and entertainment in a safe, family-friendly environment,”
The entertainment facilities have been sanitized thoroughly and all precautions have been taken as per Ministry Of Public Health’s guidelines. All the equipment and common surfaces will undergo proper disinfection and hand-sanitising stations have been installed all across.
It would be mandatory for all visitors to wear masks and gloves. There will be proper social distancing protocol that shall be followed. Many facilities will also use UV sanitisation at nights, with dedicated staff standing by round the clock to clean the machines and tools after each use.
Along with this,staff and facility is present to organise visitor entry at the venue, preventing crowds and ensuring a limited number of people at 30% to 50% capacity, as per the statement.
Emile Sarkis, general manager of Mall of Qatar has said: “Mall of Qatar is the favourite destination for adults and kids alike. With the re-opening of the entertainment facilities, all family members can now enjoy a wide variety of options in our recreation facilities with the highest sanitisation and safety measures. In this regard, we thank all ministries and entities working hard to bring our life to be normal again and care about our health. We will put in all our effort to secure the best experience for shoppers and visitors who are keen to spend good times at their favourite destination.”
The entertainment facilities that shall open for public include Novo Cinemas, the largest IMAX with laser screens in the Mena region and MX4D.
There is also eight-lane bowling alley which will be open with limited capacity. Every ball and equipment shall be sanitised after each use. Players would always be required to wear gloves.
Exclusive rides and real life battlefield action on latest videogaming machined at Xtremeland would reignite adventure. Kidzmondo has many adventures for kids with more than 70 scaled-down businesses, including a central plaza, fire station, clock tower, police station and hospital theatre.
There is also Caboodle where younger children and babies can go back to their favourite fun place under dedicated staff supervision. Also Zoo Rider resumes its fun ride to take children around the mall.
