2021 is now gearing up for some amazing events and Qatar National Tourism Council has released its event calendar for all on its online platform.
This year’s calendar represents diversity and development of the major events like sporting, entertainment, festivals, exhibitions, conferences and much more. Qatar Calendar is looking at bringing together QNTC’s partners from private sectors and public sectors so that the local economy grows in leaps and bounds and encourage local talents as well as highlight the tourism and infrastructure development across Qatar.
“Offering a streamlined platform for events taking place across the country, Qatar Calendar enables QNTC and our stakeholders across the public and private sectors to showcase our varied offerings both domestically and internationally. Coordinated efforts with our partners, complemented by the advanced infrastructure and the easy access to the country, will contribute to building the country’s reputation as a major destination for international events.” Said Secretary General of Qatar National Tourism Council and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, H E Akbar Al Baker.

This calendar will help out locals and visitors to plan out and participate in events of their choice in the country. This will also facilitate booking in advance and cater to a variety of tastes and choices.
Next year is already big with Qatar gearing up to host major international sporting events such as FIFA Club World Cup, Qatar ExxonMobil Open, and the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, in addition to local tournaments such as Algalayel Championship and Al Udeid Desert Challenge. 2021 will also witness the return of exhibitions and festivals such as Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition, Heya Arabian Fashion Show, Milipol Qatar, Qatar Motor Show, Shop Qatar, Ajyal Film Festival, Qatar International Food Festival, Qatar Life and many more.
