DAAWAT-E-EID WITH RADIO OLIVE AND DECCAN DIWAN

Radio Olive 106.3 FM has always loved to celebrate every occasion with our listeners. The auspicious Eid al-Adha is being celebrated all over the country with much enthusiasm and flare and we shall be there too.

Let’s first mention on how Radio Olive is going to be a part of the Eid celebrations with all its listeners. Listeners were asked to send “EID” space “their name” to Radio Olive’s Whatsapp number. 5 families will be visited between 12^th and 13^th August by RJs and Team of Radio Olive with tasty dishes to celebrate Eid al-Adha. This celebration is brought by Deccan Diwan.

Apart from this, celebrations shall go on throughout Qatar. Festivities for Eid will be held at Souq Waqif, Souq al Wakrah and Katara Cultural Village with cultural performances, musical acts and special games for children throughout the holidays, from 4-10 pm.

Katara will be distributing Eidiya (Eid gift) to children, starting at 9.00 p.m. and visitors will enjoy a parade by the police academy’s marching band starting at 8.00pm.

The planetarium at Katara will offer enthralling 3D screening of “Dawn of the Space Age” on the second day of Eid, “The Perfect Little Planet” on the third day of Eid and “Space Man” on the fourth day. Screening of Arabic language will be at 5.00 pm and English language screenings will be at 7.00 p.m. Daily festivities will also see fireworks at the end of each day.
