COVID19 CORONAVIRUS : MEASURES AND SAFETY UPDATES, QATAR

Last night another press conference by Ministry Of Interior and Supreme Committee for Crisis Management was held to ensure better safety measure against COVID 19. HE Lolwah Al-Khater, Official spokesperson of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management announced stricter precautionary measure. Radio Olive 106.3 FM provided a LIVE video elaborating on all the latest measures. Watch below to know more about all that happened at the conference :

Amongst the many points covered, following were the main which have been pointed out for everyone’s benefit.

1. All public spaces have been closed, parks, beaches, and camping sites, till further notice.

2. Public gatherings as of now are prohibited by law.

3. Police forces will be stationed at checkpoints and patrol cars shall be deployed

4. A dedicated hotline has been made for the purpose too : 44579999

5. 1 person along with driver shall be allowed in one vehicle.

Please note : Further clarification has been made that transport vehicles like carpool, buses, trucks are exempted as long as for necessary purpose.
