Sunday marked the day when Qatari Athlete Musab Adam qualified for Tokyo Olympics 2021. He qualified in the 1500 meter race which was held on 14th February. The athlete received a time of 3.32.41 minutes during the qualifying race held in cooperation with the Qatar Athletics Federation, Aspire Academy and Aspetar.
The schedule for the Summer Olympics Games which will be held in Tokyo is from July 30th to August 8th.
There were many participants including Musab Adam, Jamal Hayran, Ismail Noureddine, and Abdulrahman Hassan participated for the qualifying race. Musab was the one who succeeded in finishing the race at the top and qualify successfully for required qualification number.
After this qualification Musab Adam has joined the list of “Al-Adaam” champions who had previously qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. These include namely Moataz Barshim in the high jump, Abdelrahman Samba in the 400-meter hurdles race, Ashraf Al Saifi in the hammer toppling, and Abu Bakr Haidar in the 800-meter race.
