A comedy blockbuster from Balaji Motion Pictures, is full of clever one-liners that are sure to make you chuckle. The comedy timing of Kriti Sanon, Tabu, and Kareena Kapoor was a major factor in the success of the comedic parts. Fans will have a blast seeing the trio’s combo scenes as they delivered incredible performances. Despite the fact that all three performed so well, Kareena and Tabu stand out for their compelling on-screen persona. The creators made an effort to balance the emotions in addition to the humor. There were a few poignant moments, but they were handled tastefully and carefully. Most of the story is told in a lighthearted manner.
A Balaji Motion Pictures presented CREW is filled with a good number of comedy blocks, and the tongue-in-cheek humour is sure to evoke laughter. The humour scenes worked mainly due to the comedy timing of Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. The trio killed it with their stunning performances, and their fans are sure to have a gala time watching their combo Along with the humour, the makers tried to balance the emotions as well. Though there were a handful of emotional scenes, they were handled neatly without going overboard.
The back-and-forth screenplay choice worked well in the first hour. The music stole the show with amazing remixes. The writing is good as far as the main characterisations are concerned. Diljit Dosanjh, Rajesh Sharma, and Kapil Sharma are decent in their supporting roles.
On the whole, Crew is a time-pass entertainer relying mostly on fun moments. The movie is inspired by real-life events, and the way the lead characters are written is relatable and makes them likable. Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon are excellent in their roles, and their on-screen chemistry is the film’s trump card. The logic-defying heist episode and the rushed sequences in the second half restrict the film from reaching its full potential. Crew isn’t a memorable film by any means, but the fun quotient makes it a decent one time watch.
