Tomorrow is the day when the world will witness the final battle of AFC Asian Cup 2019. A day that will be remembered by football lovers.
The ultimae match between Qatar & Japan will be played at Zayed Sports Stadium on Friday.
Japan, the four times champion since their first breakthrough match in their home land in 1992. The team has a record of having won all the four matches in the AFC ASIA CUP Decider matches.
On the contrary, the opponent Qatar is the new kid on the block with no previous experience of playing in the finale. The team has never made beyond the quarter final stage previously.
Friday’s AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 final will not only pit Qatar against Japan but also two highly motivated and experienced coaches , Moriyasu Vs Sanchez.
The Barcelonian Coach of Qatar, Felix Sanchez, joined the Doha Aspire Academy in 2006. Seven Years later, he took charge of Qatari side which went on to beat DPR Korea and claim the AFC U-19 Championship.
His opponent is Japan’s Hajime Moriyasu who as a player won the AFC Asian Cup in 1992.
Moriyasu, who like Sanchez is also in charge of his country’s U-23 team, was assistant to former Japan head coach Akira Nishino at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, before succeeding Nishino in July last year.
So..Who will lift the champions trophy? Will a new champion emerge from the ashes?
