While it is said the shelf life on an actor is very short, Bollywood has had some interesting people to prove it wrong. As soon as these actors come on screen, they still create a ripple of reaction from the audience. Cameos or starring roles, these actors have it down pat on how to play their character perfectly. Their decades of experience and zeal to work have still kept them up on the favorites of the everyone in Bollywood. Here are some senior actors we have our eye on :
1. Amitabh Bachchan
He is hands down, the first man in the list and for obvious reasons. Given his 76 years of age, Amitabh is showing no signs of slowing down. From courtroom dramas to family dramas he is delving into almost any good content that he can lay his hands on.
2. Naseeruddin Shah
From a voice that can spout poetry at the go, to a caliber of acting which can put many a new generation to shame, Naseeruddin still makes for a man who can capture the audience. Add to it the refined authority with which he commands his roles, Shah knows how to work the magic on his audience.
3. Pankaj Kapur
There are very few people who have wooed audience on the silver screen as well as the small screen. “Office Office “ star and the man on the forefront of “Maqbool” Pankaj Kapur has proven his mettle each time he is onscreen.
4. Anil Kapoor
An actor who can still give many a newcomers a run for their money. Anil Kapoor does not look a day older than 40. Even daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja agrees that daddy Kapoor does not look old enough to play her father onscreen. With his streak of good roles, Anil says he has no plans to retire any time soon.
5. Rishi Kapoor
Kapoor family has had the tradition of not retiring at all. This senior Kapoor is no different and Rishi has been active to his best capacity. He was last seen in “Kapoor and Sons” after which Rishi was diagnosed with cancer moved out of country for treatment. But he is planning to come home and get back to work.
