MOPH ANNOUNCES CHILDREN UNDER 16 NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER QNCC

In a notice recently posted by Ministry of Public Health said in that anyone under 16 years of age is not allowed to enter QNCC.

It stated that “For everyone’s safety, children under 16 year’s old are not allowed to enter QNCC as it is designated for the COVID-19 vaccination campaign”.

As of now, MoPH’s Pharmacy and Drug Control Department has currently approved the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine for use only for people aged 16 years and older and Moderna vaccine for people aged 18 years and over. 

MoPH had recently announced a set of new measures for COVID-19 vaccination at QNCC to improve the entry and waiting process for patients.

As temperatures soar, the centre’s main parking spots has been provided for safe waiting area. For now the center’s main parking spots are being utilized as a point of arrival at the vaccination center.
