Today was a monumental day for Doha as Doha Metro started its first trip and Olive Suno Network were there to give you a firsthand experience. The ambitious project of Doha Metro became functional today, marking a day in the history of Qatar. As soon as the first trip of the Doha Metro Red Line South started, 106.3 FM Radio Olive and 91.7 FM Radio Suno made sure to be the first to get you all updates.
The trip was covered from Al Qassar to Al Wakrah. All RJs carried Metro Cards and punched in from Al Qassar. It was a fun ride and RJs went live on their social media to answer questions from listeners. They also connected with listener On-Air and made sure to give live updates from the metro train. There are 13 stations covered under the Doha Metro Red Line South. All trains are driverless. It is extremely convenient and time saving. Doha Metro is safe, reliable and comfortable way to travel across Doha city. There are also Metro Feeder buses that were available for travelers at each metro station.
